Capital of the Inca Empire, which once spanned Andean South America, known as the Tahuantinsuyo, envelops us with its magic and mysticism.
We will be waiting for you to understand a little more about what the Cuzco shows, here we present some options:
MACHU PICCHU-The wonderful Inca city hidden for the Spanish conquerors and rediscovered for the world in 1911, from which there are still lots of mysteries to solve and amazing examples of permaculture (1-6 day tour packages).
CUSCO CITY TOUR (TEMPLES)-We will start with the visit to Saccsayhuaman’s Temple of the Sun, then go on to the temples of Qenqo, Pucca Pucara, Tambomachay and the Temple of the Moon. These make up the main religious monuments of the Imperial city.
CUSCO CITY TOUR (CLASSIC)-We begin at the San Cristobal church, built over the house of Inca Manco Capac, then walk to the San Blas district, which has also been built on a pre-colonial Inca neighborhood. Next, we will reach Cuzco’s central square, where we will be able to see the combination of Spanish Colonial and Inca architecture. The Coricancha temple, house of Inca Pachacutec will be next, with the final stop being the San Pedro traditional market place, where you can buy everything from handicrafts, to traditional cheeses and fresh fruits.
SACRED VALLEY-We will start with the visit to Inca Wiracocha`s house at Chincheros, then go on to the Moray Agronomic Laboratory and the saltworks of Maras then we will reach the Urubamba town and the Inca city of Ollantaytambo.
TIPON, WARO & ANDAHUALILLAS-We will visit Tipon`s water temple and the petrpglyphs museum at Waro. After that we will be visiting the Andahualillas chapel which is considered the sistine chapel of America.
PISAQ-A visit to the Inca city of Pisaq and to their craft market which works since the Inca times.
